1. Estimates and Quotes
All quotes are free and provided in writing. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Any changes to the scope of work (for example, additional rooms or repairs requested after quoting) may result in a revised price.
2. Booking and Deposits
A start date will be confirmed once you accept the quote. For larger projects or those requiring advance material purchases, a deposit may be requested (typically 10–25% of the total cost). Deposits are non-refundable once work or material preparation has begun.
3. Materials and Paints
All materials used will be of good quality and suitable for the task. If you wish to supply your own paint or materials, this must be agreed in advance. The Art of Colour cannot guarantee the finish or durability of paints or materials supplied by the customer.

Please ensure rooms are clear and accessible on the agreed start date. Small or delicate items should be removed before work begins. Larger furniture may be covered or moved as needed, with care taken at all times.

7. Payment Terms
Full payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment can be made by bank transfer or another agreed method. Invoices must be paid within 7 days. Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Any changes to the agreed work must be discussed and confirmed before additional work is started. Extra work not included in the original quote will be charged separately.

If you need to cancel or postpone your booking, please give as much notice as possible. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date may result in a cancellation fee to cover lost time and materials.
